Read only trilogies or stand alones? Hmm..... I am going to go with trilogies, for the same reason I pick TV shows over movies. When I fall in love with characters, I feel like I know them and hence always want more insight and more understanding of them and the more books there are, the more of that you get. Having said that, I have read some really brilliant stand alone books as well.
Read only male or female authors? I know this is going to sound very biased but most of my recent favourite books have been written by women. Veronica Roth, Danielle Steel, Morgan Matson, Rainbow Rowell, Stephanie Perkins. So I would have to go with female authors.
Shop at Barnes & Noble or Amazon? Well, since I do not live in the US and have never been to Barnes and Noble, I would have to choose Amazon. I prefer book depository though... #freeinternationalshipping
All books become movies or t.v. shows? As mentioned with Question 1, I love TV Shows more than movies, so I think this one is a no brainer.
Drop your book in the toilet or watch it fall into a wood chipper? Oh my god this is like Sophie's choice! If the toilet has been recently flushed, then I guess I would choose that because I can hopefully still blowdry the pages and salvage the book, I don't think there will be much hope if its been through a wood chipper.
Read only 1 book a year and remember everything or read 100 books a year and remember nothing? Ha. I wish I had the time to read 100 books a year, but I do not. Nor is 1 book a year enough to satisfy me though. Hmmm. Can I read one book and a dozen fanfictions? or Can I read 50 books and remember half of it all? If none of those are options I would choose 100 books, and then I would simply re-read them.
Read only the 1st page of a book or only the last page of a book? Hmm.... I am not sure it makes a difference, Either way I could make up the rest of it by myself. I guess the first?
Get locked in a library or locked in a bookstore? Haha, really either would do I guess. A library I guess, bookstores usually only carry more recent releases and the bestsellers while libraries carry older books too, and always have nice seating areas. Bookstores these days have taken away the nice chairs and nooks.
Drop your book in a lake or accidentally set it on fire? Sigh. Once again I will choose water, as I at least have some shred of hope that I can blow dry and salvage it.
Have the end of a book spoiled or never know what happens? Never know what happens. I get really really agro when people ruin endings of things for me! Besides, I can always read or write my own fanfictions to get closure.
Read a book that is missing the middle chapter or read a book that is missing the first and last chapters? Tough choice. I think I would go with missing the beginning and the end; The first chapter usually sets the scene, but not much happens in it and the last chapter- once again I could read or write my own fanfic version of the end. I would hate to miss something really important in the middle.
Have to start every conversation of your life with a quote from a book OR not be able to remember any quotes from any books but be able to speak normally? Omg I would actually love to quote books with every conversation I have, like how Frank and Collins speak only in beatles songs in SYBG.
Never be allowed to read the last chapter of a book but be able to read as many books as you want OR only be allowed to read one book a year, but be allowed to finish it? Once again, I'm happy to seek other means to get the ending if there is a gun to my head; but if I can use the loop hole, I would finish one and then read a bunch of fanfictions. :) There is such satisfaction in turning that last page and updating your goodreads shelf.
